Hanania Automotive Group invests in a SouthBank high-rise
For the benefit of our community in Jacksonville and Orange Park, Hanania Automotive Group purchased the former Stein Mart headquarters on the downtown SouthBank. Our CEO Jack Hanania grew up in Lakewood and currently lives in San Marco, so he has a natural affinity for neighborhoods near the South Bank. Jack believes in the future of downtown and that helped motivate him to make this extraordinary purchase.
Bringing new jobs and vitality to downtown Jacksonville
Not long ago, this SouthBank structure was the national headquarters for Stein Mart and employed many people over the years. While it was disappointing to see Stein Mart go into bankruptcy and the subsequent loss of jobs, Hanania Automotive Group made a major investment that would help revitalize the area in a timely way. Hanania Riverplace has become our organization's corporate headquarters and many new jobs have come with it.
Jack and his team have actively recruited other corporate and retail tenants to help fill this distinctive building and bring new levels of employment, economic opportunity and growth to the people of Jacksonville, Orange Park and beyond.
We're honored to support the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund
The Tom Coughlin Jay fund foundation is dedicated to helping families battle childhood cancer by providing a comprehensive level of financial, practical and emotional support. It was established more than 25 years ago by Super Bowl winning coach Tom Coughlin and his family. Coach Tom was moved to start the fund after seeing the severe strain on the family of a young man named Jay who played for his Boston College football team.
Contributing to the automotive needs of families helped by the Jay Fund
In 2022, the Hanania Automotive Group was privileged to join in partnership with the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund to help underwrite the organization's Auto Maintenance Program. As a result, 45 families in communities like Fleming Island and Lake City FL received special assistance with their transportation needs. We are grateful to be of service to local families with children who are battling cancer.
Coming to the aid of senior citizens served by the River Garden Foundation
The River Garden Senior Services Foundation of Jacksonville needed to raise substantial funds to make up for an annual loss caused by Medicaid. The Hanania Automotive Group considered it an honor to donate $5,000 towards this worthy cause. In partnership with many other individuals and organizations, several million dollars were raised to support local senior citizens.
 Proud to support the Pat Tillman Foundation of Jacksonville
Pat Tillman was an NFL player who left his football career to serve in the U.S. Army and lost his life in the course of serving his country. The Pat Tillman Foundation provides scholarships and professional opportunities to military members, veterans and spouses. The Hanania Automotive Group donated a portion of every vehicle sold at their Saint Augustine and Jacksonville dealerships, raising a total of $8800.
